The Bug-A-Lugs team
Jules Clapham - Director
In 2012, as Bug-A-Lugs Indoor Play Centre faced closure, Jules took a bold step. In December of that year, she became the proud owner, driven by a desire to share the joy her family experienced at Bug-A-Lugs Indoor Play Centre. What started as a haven for parties and casual play evolved into something more profound.
In January 2014, Bug-A-Lugs expanded its horizon to offer school-aged child care in Kyneton. The success prompted further growth, leading to the establishment of our Outside School Hour Care Program in Woodend, operating from the Woodend Primary School hall since January 2015. Accommodating four schools for OSHC and up to sixteen for our holiday program, Bug-A-Lugs became a hub of fun, learning and laughter.
The challenges of the COVID era prompted a difficult decision to permanently close the play centre. However, this setback fueled innovation. Bug-A-Lugs underwent a transformative renovation to better cater to the children under our care.
Jules, a mother of six and a proud grandmother, brings a unique passion to her role. Supporting children is not just a job for her; it's a calling. Her commitment lies in witnessing and actively contributing to each child's journey, helping them blossom into the best versions of themselves.
Bug-A-Lugs Childcare under Jules's guidance is more than a facility; it's a nurturing space where children thrive, families connect, and the community flourishes. Join us in this journey of growth, learning, and joy.
