Bug-A-Lugs provides a before and after school care program, a school holiday program, and starting in 2026 a Funded Kindergarten program for 3- and 4-year-olds in Kyneton.

Whether your child is joining us in Woodend or Kyneton for Outside School Hour mCare (OSHC), or in Kyneton for our new Kindergarten, we are sure they will make heaps of new friends, learn lots of cool things, and have a ton of fun!

Our new Kindergarten program will be delivered in a warm, engaging mixed-age learning environment, supported by the same stable, passionate Educators who have been part of our Exceeding-rated service for over a decade. With the added convenience of before and after kindergarten care, full day care, as well as holiday care (available to children enrolled in our ongoing kinder program only) your child’s learning and care needs will be covered from age 3 right through to 12.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and caring environment. Children can play on our equipment in Kyneton, take part in arts, crafts, karaoke, sports, quiet time with reading, a big range of board games and toys, plus free choice. Bug-A- is guided by the My Time, Our Place Framework for school age care in Australia, and our kindergarten program will also follow the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and school ready program.

All of our Educators are qualified in accordance with the Department of Education and Training, as well as holding full first aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis training to provide you with peace of mind.
